Equipment

Three categories, one standard

Availability varies by project and date — tell us what you're working on and we'll confirm what we can put on your site.

01

Scissor Lifts

Primary equipment

Our main focus. Straight vertical lift with a stable working platform — a common choice for interior fit-outs, ceiling and overhead work, lighting, mechanical and electrical trades, and general access on level ground.

  • Interior fit-outs
  • Overhead trades
  • Maintenance access
Ask about availability
02

Boom Lifts

Reach and height

For work that needs to get up and over something. Useful where a platform has to reach past an obstacle or work at height on exterior and open sites.

  • Reaching over obstacles
  • Exterior work
  • Higher access
Ask about availability
03

Hand-Crank Lifts

Tight and indoor spaces

Compact, manually operated lifting for confined interior spaces, finished floors and smaller installation work where a powered machine is more than the job needs.

  • Confined spaces
  • Finished interiors
  • Small installs

Why Liftdog

Built because rental lifts kept showing up rough

Liftdog started from a simple, repeated frustration: rented lifts arriving filthy, poorly charged, or not in a state you'd want in front of a client. We think that's a fixable problem, and it's the standard we're holding ourselves to.

01

A dirty lift costs you time

Plaster, paint and grime on a machine means wiping it down, protecting finished surfaces, or working around it. That's time nobody quoted for.

02

Presentation matters on site

Beat-up equipment in a client's space reflects on the crew using it. Clean, tidy machines make a job site look organised and under control.

03

Charged and functional

A lift that shows up low on charge or half-working stalls the day. We're building our process around equipment that's ready to use on arrival.

04

Quality over quantity

We'd rather look after a smaller fleet properly than push out whatever's on the yard. Every machine should be one we'd be comfortable using ourselves.

About

Built from the job site

Liftdog didn't start in an office. It started with our own projects.

We kept needing lift access on our own sites — and kept running into the same issues. Machines that were hard to get when we needed them, or that turned up in a state we wouldn't want a client to see.

So we decided to take more control over the quality and availability of the equipment we rely on. Liftdog is our answer: a smaller, well-kept fleet, looked after properly, rented out by people who have actually had to work off these machines.

We're an independent Edmonton business starting out here. Price, availability, reliability, delivery and being able to reach an actual person are what we hear matter most — and those are exactly the things we're setting out to make straightforward.
